Flex films are a very popular material used in thermal transfer. Flex heat-sealable foils are cut on a cutting plotter and then applied to the selected base using a heat transfer press. Depending on the properties of the film and the final effect, there are a lot of types heat transfer vinyls: from standard, metallic, glitter, lacquered, neon, reflective, structured and others. At your request, we can provide you a flex or flock foil sample - please ask your sales representative for details.

  • HeatFlex thermal transfer foil is made of high-quality matt polyurethane foil, coated on one side with a strong adhesive (the adhesive is thermally activated - under the heat of the heat transfer press)
  • HeatFlex films with an adhesive backing are thin, flexible and stretchable, thanks to which they work with the fabric after being heated, and are comfortable to wear
  • Flex is a durable, resistant material for thermal transfer - it does not wash out, does not crack, does not fade
  • Heatflex foil for thermal transfer is suitable for heat sealing on many types of substrates, both cotton and polyester
  • Due to full coverage, flex foil can be applied to dark and light fabrics
  • Smooth flex foil works well when cutting on a plotter and when selecting unnecessary elements, even very small ones
  • Thin color transfer film is mainly for single-color designs, placed on clothes (T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, workwear and sportswear) and bags
  • Strong adhesive backing makes Heatflex films ideal for multi-layer and color printing
  • T-shirts and other elements marked with flex foil are pleasant to wear and easy to maintain - they can be washed at temperatures up to 90oC!
  • In addition, textiles printed with Heatflex foil can be dried in a tumble dryer and cleaned with detergents (e.g. bleach, softener)
  • The film is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified - it is environmentally friendly, as well as for the skin of allergy sufferers and small children
  • See more flex foils in other vibrant colors.
Application instructions:
  • Cut the selected motif on the plotter in a mirror image (left readable); a knife with a cutting angle of 45o should cut the foil only without the transparent polyester liner
  • Select unnecessary foil fragments
  • Place the foil on a T-shirt or other medium and heat it for 10 seconds at 140oC with medium press pressure
  • Remove the transparent hot liner (immediately after opening the press)
