NEW VERSION OF PAPER B - more stretchy and durability
- The Laser Dark No Cut foil Low Temperature product family is developed for the transfer of full color text or intricate graphics to dark substrates. It
applies to synthetic fabrics (nylon, polyester) and natural fibers (cotton, linen, silk, wool). The Laser Dark No Cut is suitable also for transfering to paper, cardboard, jeans or skin.
- Suitable for colorful, printed logo labels. Tagless labels are a good way to identify your brand
- Transparent print media for exact positioning
- Low processing temperature
- Extremely high wash fastness due to a special top-coating
- Better white opacity and stronger full-tone colors
- High processing tolerance, especially when separating A & B
- Recommended for OKI White Toner.
- It is possible to use with your regular CMYK printer, as long as stick to certain limitations. It is great for full tone colors, like solid reds, solid greens etc. As these colors have a high toner saturation. Colors below 100% toner saturation, such as, pastel tones, skin tones, sky blues, etc. cannot be printed.
Application instructions:
IMPORTANT: Different CMYK printer manufacturers use different types of toner. The settings above are only reference values! Finding out the optimal temperature and time requires experimentation.
- First pay attention to the printer setting - media type: "foil / transparency" or if you don't have such media, select "label"
- Print the selected theme left-side (in a mirror image) on A-Foil; insert the sheet into the bypass tray so that the print occurs on the matte side
- Prepare the press - its bottom plate should be warmed up
- Place the printed film face up on the press plate and place the paper with adhesive (B-Paper) on it with the manufacturer's markings up
- Cover everything with protective paper Matt Finish
- Heat elements at 135-145oC in 90-120 seconds under medium press pressure
- After opening the press, remove the Matt Finish paper and, using a clean cloth, rub the top of the B-Paper for even distribution of the adhesive - perform the action for about 5 seconds with energetic circular motions
- Without removing everything from the press, remove the paper from the foil in one smooth motion - do not stop!
- Remove the foil from the press and cut off unnecessary, unprinted fragments around the pattern
- Place the material you want to mark on the press - make sure it is free of dirt and iron it in the press for a few seconds to remove moisture
- Place the foil face down on the finished surface
- Perform transfer in 30 seconds and under medium press pressure at a temperature depending on the type of material:
- cotton: 135 - 145oC
- polyester: 120 - 130oC
- polypropylene: 105oC
- mixed fabrics: 120 - 130oC
- wood: 130oC
- nylon (pre-iron the fabric for 30 seconds): 140oC
- paper/cardboard: 100oC - for 15 seconds - light pressure (1-2 Bar)
- book covers: 110-120oC - within 15 seconds - light pressure (1-2 Bar)
- Wait for it to cool completely, then smoothly remove the paper cold, keeping the angle as small as possible
- The finished print has a glossy finish; if you want to matt it, use paper Matt Finish in 10 seconds and at the same temperature at which the transfer was made
- NOTE: Textiles printed with the use of Laser Dark No Cut can be washed at max. 40 o C using mild detergents and after turning it inside out. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron the printed field
