Waste toner is collected in a waste toner bottle or a waste toner container. Waste toner is excess toner that remains on the drum surface after printing. This excess toner is removed from the drum by a cleaning blade and is discarded to a waste toner bottle or container. Waste toner cannot be used again by the printer and its excess is returned back to the empty tank - Waste Tonerhopper.
